Chiswick Man Arrested On Suspicion of Burglary and Handling Stolen Goods

Police want to trace owners of property found in Bath Road house

A 20 year old Chiswick man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and handling stolen goods.

The Bath Road resident was taken to Chiswick Police Station after Officers from Turnham Green SNT and Chiswick Homefields SNT used a search warrant at his home last week.

A number of electrical items and jewellery were seized along with Class A and Class B drugs.

The man was bailed to return to Chiswick Police Station on 11th January pending further enquiries.

Police are now trying to potential owners of the items found.

PC Clarke from Turnham Green SNT told ChiswickW4.com, "This sends a message to offenders that they will be targeted and arrested.

"We are thankful for any information we receive and will use the information to target those who commit crime. Burglary has a huge impact on the victim and local community. We are doing everything we can to reduce burglary.

PC Murray from Chiswick Homefields SNT said "This incident sends a clear message to partnership agencies and the public that informing the Police of anything can lead to suspects being arrested."
