Week of Chiswick Crime Prevention Roadshows

SNT Officers on hand to give advice and information to residents

Information

The Police in Chiswick

Officers from Turnham Green Safer Neighbourhood Team will be running crime prevention roadshows at various locations across Turnham Green ward.

The team will be on hand to give crime prevention advice to residents, businesses and visitors to the area, as well as giving feedback about what the team is doing to tackle local priority crimes.

Information will also be available on cycle and motor vehicle security, how to mark property and information on personal safety.

As well as this, the team are looking for people who might be considering helping to make the community safer. We can give information and advice on the many ways to do this; from advising us on what concerns there are in the area, telling us how the local police are doing, helping to set priorities all the way to helping directly - through Neighbourhood Watch, volunteering with the Met, or even joining the Hounslow Police team as a Special Constable.

People who attend the roadshow will be able to arrange for an officer to attend their home or businesss to conduct a free crime prevention survey of their property.

People who sign up for this survey can be entered into a prize draw, with the winner receiving a forensic property marking kit, allowing valuable possessions to be uniquely identified.

The team will be out and about at the following places next week:

26th April - 9am to 11am - outside Chiswick Town Hall, Heathfield Terrace
26th April - Midday to 2pm - next to the cycle racks on Turnham Green Terrace
